I Quit...
|
Last time we spoke, I was just back from a road trip. What I didn't tell you was that I had made a decision: I was done... Done with BigMoves. I was going to quit everything and disappear. Here's what happened... For months, I'd been dealing with health issues that were getting worse, not better. The income from my last business sale - money I was counting on - wasn't flowing through like it was supposed to. Everything felt like it was crashing down at once. I was exhausted. I just wanted to walk away from it all. So I packed up my car and hit the road, thinking this might be my goodbye tour. But something funny happens when you've spent 10 years building relationships with other entrepreneurs. When you're ready to throw in the towel, they don't let you quit that easily. I called a few friends during that trip. People who've been through their own dark moments and come out the other side. And every single one of them said the same thing: "You don't want to quit. You just need a real break." They were right. I hadn't taken proper time off in a decade. I'd been running on fumes for so long that I forgot what it felt like to actually rest. The road trip became exactly that - my first real break in years. And about a month ago, I came back. Not just refreshed, but clear on something important: I didn't want to build alone anymore. I reached out to my previous business partner and an agency owner we've worked with for years. Three of us, each covering the core functions of business perfectly. And now we've teamed up to scale BigMoves! I'll introduce you more to Isaac & GP over the next few months... But we've already started taking on 1-on-1 clients, building AI automations that are blowing their minds.
The work is incredible. The momentum is building. And here's the thing - I hate that we lost momentum during those months I was away. But it had to happen. I needed to step back to step forward properly. Now, with 3 of us leading this charge, big things are about to happen. I'm not going anywhere. In fact, I'm more committed to this than I've ever been. More details coming in my next email about exactly what we're building and where this is all headed. But for now, I wanted you to know: I'm back. Looking forward to reconnecting with all of you, P.S.
