The AI Automation Train Has Left The Station 🚂

Last week I told you about our big pivot away from the marketplace model.

This week? We put that plan into action. Hard.

It started with our yearly strategy and quarterly planning session – which I included the community in on. It was fun!.

Then, fueled by that clarity, I locked myself away with a massive MiroBoard. (Yeah, I’m that kind of nerdy 🤓)

I mapped out almost everything:

• Our entire acquisition funnel
• Every step of the customer journey
• All the AI workflows we need to build to make it faster and better
• The KPI’s for each team member in order to execute effectively

And something magical happened…

The team’s energy completely shifted. Everyone got aligned. Crystal clear on where we’re going and how we’ll get there.

When I told them my expectation – that they’ll all be at least twice as productive by the end of the year – they didn’t blink. They just nodded, because now they could see exactly how we’re going to make it happen.

That’s when I knew we’d made the right call.

You’ve Just Got to Get Started

But here’s a wild thought that hit me this morning: 12 months ago, I had zero intention of starting a new company. None. Zip. Nada.

• 12 months ago: No plans for a new business
• 6 months ago: “Maybe I’ll start a self-serve marketing & content agency?”
• 3 months ago: “AI Automation marketplace! That’s the ticket!”
• Today: Pivoting to a consulting and education firm

And you know what? Each of those steps was exactly what needed to happen.

Because here’s the thing about building something meaningful – you can’t see the whole staircase when you take that first step.

You just have to start.

But that raises an interesting question: How do you know when you’re on the right track?

In my experience (and this might sound a bit woo-woo), it’s when things start energetically aligning.

This week alone:

• Multiple successful business owners reached out to praise our new direction
• Got invited to run a masterclass for a community of tens of thousands
• Received an invitation to speak at a local event
• Had several conversations that could lead to much bigger opportunities

Here’s the crazy part – we haven’t even updated our website yet. 🤯

All this is happening just from sharing our journey openly, aligning our team internally, and being honest about where we’re headed.

It’s like the universe is saying “yeah, this is the right move.”

Some people might call it luck. Others might say it’s just coincidence.

I think it’s what happens when you finally align with what you’re meant to be doing next.

Or at least on the right path…

The marketplace was a necessary step. The agency idea was a necessary step. Each pivot, each “failure,” each adjustment – they were all part of finding our true path.

Sometimes you have to get started in the wrong direction to find the right one.

So if you’re sitting there wondering if you should start that project, launch that business, or make that pivot – this is your sign.

Just start.

The path will reveal itself.
