I had a 1,000 word newsletter ready to send at my normal time on Tuesday but I just deleted the whole thing.
Ultimately, it wasn’t valuable enough.
It was too preachy. Not enough value driven content.
So it’s gone.
Which leaves me with two things to say.
Making content just to stick to an arbitrary schedule
I’ve been guilty of this a number of times. Making content just to stick to some sort of schedule because that’s what you’re “supposed” to do.
Nobody needs more content.
But they do want more good content.
Sure, I could have planned better.
But I still have no idea where this newsletter is going.
I don’t have any products or services right now.
The entire purpose of the newsletter was to document my process each week.
But it turns out that the process of automating your business is slow and I don’t have anything new and valuable to update yet.
So that leads me to the second thing…
What do you want to hear from me?
Like I just said, the intention of this newsletter was to document how I’m automating with AI.
But the most popular newsletter I’ve written was about how I grew a pet care business from 0 to 7-figures in 6 months.
So my mind continues to bounce back and fourth between the two different types of newsletters. Maybe the answer is both, and I need to settle into that.
But have your say in the poll below…
If you’re new to the newsletter, I’ve written some great articles already that are available at the homepage. This week is the perfect week to catch up.
In the meantime, I’m still working hard at the current operating system I’m building for my own brands.
Next week I’ll have a major update of how it all works including screenshots and examples.
It’ll easily save double the productivity of myself and my team when it comes to marketing.
I’ve got 3-4 solid days left getting it completed.
Let’s go!

What I read this week:
Google’s “Woke” Problem – I’ve been a paying user of Google Workplace, previously G-Suite for 9 years. I’ve never once thought about moving away from them until recently. I’m less worried about the images it generated, and more concerned about the culture that created this. How is it even possible a company of this size makes such an easy to spot mistake in their product release. It doesn’t happen unless it was on purpose! Many have been wondering for the last year, “where’s Google with their AI”, and all signs are pointing to a culture that isn’t skilled enough to deliver a quality product. They’re more concerned with politics than they are products. That’s a sign of an unhealthy company. Is this the beginning of the downfall for Google? We’ll soon see!
